On the website home page, shown below, there is a banner menu at the top. Hover the cursor over “Coaches Corner” and then click on “Logon to Coach’s page/Registration” as shown below.

When you first enter the Coach’s area, the initial menu is displayed as shown below.

Click on the menu choice
“Access Coach’s Area to Logon or Register” and the logon screen will be
displayed as shown below. All coaches who wish to access the coach’s
section on the SCSL website need to be registered. You can also access the
coach's website manual here and in the coach's secure area.

If you are a new coach or will be reporting scores for a team and want to register for the coach’s area for score reporting, click on the link labeled “Click Here to Register” as shown in the screen-shot above. If you were previously registered, you do not need to register again. Your club director can update and activate your account.
When you begin the registration process, the following form will open. Enter your correct first and last names and select the club you are affiliated with.

Click the “Continue” button and the next registration form will open.

Here you will enter the rest of the information needed for registration. Once you have completed the registration process the confirmation notice shown below will be displayed. Your club Director will receive an automatic e-mail notification that you have completed the registration process and your account should now be activated. You cannot logon until your account is activated by your club director.

Enter your e-mail address in the box provided. The e-mail entered will be checked for accurate structure. If the e-mail address is not structured properly, the following notice will be displayed.

You should enter a username and password that you can remember or one you have written down and keep in a secure location. The password and username will be checked against current registrations to make sure there are no duplicates.
If a duplicate username is found or the username as entered does not conform to the length required, the following notice will be displayed.

The password must be between 6 and 16 characters long and you have to enter it twice. If the password length is incorrect, the following notice will be displayed.

If you make a mistake and the two password entries are not the same, the following notice will be displayed.

If you have forgotten the password you entered when you registered originally, click on “Forgot your password?” at the bottom of the login box and you will be asked to enter your e-mail address. This will be compared to the e-mail address on record. If it is the same, a random password will be sent by e-mail You can then change your password to one you prefer. If your email address has changed, your club director can update your account for you.

To enter the coach’s area, you must be registered and have a valid username and password. Enter those in the corresponding box in the login form shown previously. The main coach’s administration menu will then be displayed as shown below.

The “Add Data” menu choices are discussed below. The “List Records” menu choices are used to display the data in various ways.
Both teams are required to report scores. The team won-lost-tied-points records will only be updated for teams that report their scores. A team that does not report a score will not get credit for the game and their club will receive a fine for the non-report. To report the results of a game that actually gets played, click on “Report a Score”. The first thing you will see is a screen where you will be asked if there are any red or yellow cards to report as shown below.

If you have any cards to report, click the "Yes" radio button, enter the number of total cards and click the "Next" button. You can select the game to report red or yellow cards for from the list box as shown in the following screen-shot. Only the games that do not have scores reported will show in the list box. If you don't have any cards to report just click on the "Next" button and you will go directly to the form to select the game for the score report.

Once you have selected the correct game, click the “next” button and the cardreporting form will open as shown in the next screen-shot

The information for the game selected is displayed at the top. You can now fill in the required player and card information in the boxes provided. The details box is for you to enter the specific reason for the card. You should only enter comments in the comments box. When all of the data is entered, click the "Enter Infraction" button and the following screen will confirm the card report.

Click the "Continue" button. If you entered more than one for the number of cards to report, you will be sent back to the card reporting form until the correct number of cards have been entered. Once you have finished reporting the cards, you will be taken directly to the score reporting form. The same game information will be displayed and you only have to enter the date the game was actually played and fill out the scores.

The game and team information will be displayed in the form. If it is not correct, you can return to the main menu by clicking on the link at the bottom of the page. If it is correct, fill in the date and scores. Click the “Enter” button and a confirmation notice will be displayed as shown in the following screen-shot

Your up to date team record will be displayed as well. This will include the just reported result. If the record displayed is not correct you should notify your club director.
Both teams are required to report forfeits. The team won-lost-tied-points records will only be updated for teams that report a forfeit. A team that does not report a forfeit will not get credit for the game and their club will receive a fine for the non-report. To report the results of a game that gets forfeited, click on “Report a Forfeit” and you can select the game to report a result for from the list box as shown in the following screen-shot

Select the correct game from the list and click the “Next” button. A form will be displayed as shown in the next screen-shot The game and team information will be displayed in the form. If it is not correct, you can return to the main menu by clicking the link at the bottom of the page.

If the game and team information is correct, you should enter which team forfeited the game. Once the forfeit information is correct, click the “Enter” button and the forfeit will be recorded. A confirmation notice will then be displayed as shown in the next screen-shot

The up to date won-lost-tied-points record for you team will be displayed. This will include the forfeit just reported.
You can report an infraction by clicking on the link in the main menu. The following screen will open and youi should select the correct game for the card(s) to be entered.

Select the game and click the "Next" button and the card reporting form will open as shown below.

Make sure you have all the data necessary for reporting an infraction, including the player’s name, jersey number, etc. All coaches are responsible for reporting infraction for the players on both teams. Failure to report an infraction will cause a fine to be levied. Once all of the information is filled out, click the "Enter Infraction" button and the following screen will confirm the card was recorded.

You can then report another card or return to the main menu.
